Recently, Amazon FBA has actively expanded its warehousing facilities in the United States, adding FSD1 warehouses in South Dakota, ABQ2 warehouses in New Mexico, and PSC2 warehouses in Washington State in July.
Subsequently, MIT2 warehouse in California and GFU3 warehouse in Arizona were added in September. Recently, the western region of the United States has also welcomed the addition of three new warehouses: QXY5, JOT1, and GEU5.
However, Amazon FBA warehouses still face severe challenges in dealing with the year-end sales peak season. Due to frequent overcrowding of warehouses, appointments are frequently cancelled or postponed, resulting in a significant decrease in operational efficiency of overseas warehouses.
This not only makes it difficult to deliver the goods in a timely manner, but also seriously affects the picking up, unpacking, and delivery processes of the final logistics. Although Amazon is actively seeking solutions, the problem of inventory explosion remains severe at present.
Some sellers have stated that Amazon's shipments this week are no longer able to clear warehouses in the western United States, and can only choose between the US, China, or the eastern United States.
This week, I tried to create multiple shipments, but found that I could only choose the US East or US China warehouses. The goods sent to PSC2 and ABQ2 warehouses in August have not yet been shelved, and the signing speed is slow. If this situation continues, won't the October shipment miss the peak season by sea
According to reliable sources, the severe inventory explosion in Amazon warehouses has caused delays in delivery times for many warehouses, especially those in the western United States. Many industry insiders have pointed out that the problem of warehouse explosions in the US West Coast is particularly prominent.
